There is a box on my desk. Inside the box, it is a collection of hundreds of people’s business cards. Although I try to keep them organized, such as index them by names and industries, I always had a hard time to find the one I’m looking for. Therefore, this question always pops in my mind — Why do we need a traditional business card anymore? We never find “the one” when we need to. It’s a huge waste of money and nature resource. I know I probably could input those information into my computer or cell phone when I get a business card and use a search engine to help me later on. However, it’s a lot of work! We have more important things to do than data entry.
So, here is something I think would definitely happen in the future – an innovated way of exchanging business cards.
Exchanging business cards could happen when we shaking our hands.
First, we engaged with who we are and put the information into a ring. Then we put the ring on and shake hands with another ring man/woman.

Voila! Now, we know who we are talking to! ![]()

Moreover, instead of basic information, we can also add a bit personality and make the business card fun!
